Synopsis
Unaware of her condition, an inflatable doll discovers herself and faces the ever ending matter of self perception and identity.
Project overview
Sex might be one of the last playgrounds we are left with as adults. However, the products around it and the way we relate to them can lead to moral conundrums. Design has been a part of sexuality since immemorial times, bouncing from hand to hand, creating the most liberating and empowering products to explore sex, the very same ones which have been used to harm our own sexuality and intimacy.
Muñekita is the story of Judy’s self-discovery, and the questions faced by that journey.It is a conversation starter, meant to generate curiosity, to inspire lust, surprise, and questions. Questions are precisely what we feel is lacking in the nowadays conversations around sexuality and intimacy, questions that are not afraid of being politically incorrect, questions that are not filtered by a ‘woke’ moral compass, questions that allow duality to exist, and leave shame hidden in a drawer.
