Project overview
This animation was a collaboration between the Intimacy Stories podcast and the illustrator & animator Mariana Sanin Angel.
The original story is fully on audio, this animation summed up the 8 minutes of the full story, into a one minute teaser.
Challenges
Creating a safe environment for the interviewee, asking the right questions to get enough details to share the story, without creating a revictimizing experience for her.

Abstract
- “Y en ese momento me empezaron a dar unos ataque es pánico. No era capaz de ir a una discoteca porque sentía que no podía respirar, cuando caminaba sentía que me choca con todo el mundo, me daba miedo manejar porque sentía que iba a pisar a alguien, todo se me estaba volviendo insoportable. Vivía midiéndome el pulso, tocándome el cuello, no me aguantaba la ropa pegada, no lograba dormir, las noches eran eternas y tenía sueños rarísimo. Soñaba muchísimo con ese man, soñaba que me perseguía, que me perseguía y yo corría y corría. Yo de verdad no me podía negar más que eso me había pasado, mi cuerpo ya lo estaba somatizando.”
